MUMBAI: Unni Mukundan made his debut in 2011 with Seedan and now he has got everyone excited with what is claimed to be India’s most violent movie – Marco. The trailer of the movie received a lot of love and really got the audience hooked.
The movie released on 20th December and took over the audience with its ruthless action. Unni Mukundan is earning a lot of praise for his performance.
The movie has already hit the big screens and on it’s first day, the movie made a collection of around Rs 4.30 Cr. It’s been 18 days now and on 18th day the movie collected around Rs 1.40 Cr with Rs 0.3 Cr in Malayalam and Rs 0.65 Cr in Hindi. It even collected around Rs 0.3 Cr in Telugu and around Rs 0.15 Cr in Tamil. It has collected around Rs 53.15 Cr in India net and Rs 91 Cr globally.
Marco is directed by Haneef Adeni and stars Unni Mukundan along with Kabir Duhan Singh, Jagadish, Sudev Nair and Shaji Chen.
It’ll be interesting to see how the movie performs further at the box office as we can see that the shows have increased in theatres.
