MUMBAI: Zee TV's iconic singing reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, continues to captivate audiences with its harmonious blend of musical excellence and entertainment. As the competition intensifies week after week, fans enthusiastically tune in to witness contestants transform their raw talent into breathtaking performances under the guidance of esteemed mentors Sachin-Jigar, Sachet-Parampara, and Guru Randhawa. This weekend, the much-awaited Race to the Finale episode promised a musical extravaganza, featuring renowned jury members from the music industry.
While the audience got to experience some of the most outstanding performances by the Top 7 contestants during the episode, contestants Ujwal Gajbhar and Parvathi Meenakshi’s first OG song ‘Tere Sang’ was the main highlight of it. This song is a perfect blend of love and emotions, composed by popular singers and mentors of the show – Sachet and Parampara and written by Priya Saraiya (Jigar Saraiya’s wife). Impressed with their performance and their voices, the mentors couldn’t stop appreciating them after their soulful performance.
Sachet said, “Everything that is happening for you is purely by God’s grace, we’re simply the medium through which it’s unfolding. Speaking of their recording process, these two are incredibly skilled when it comes to singing in a studio setting. They picked up everything so quickly, their lines, the required style of delivery, everything. They managed to record the entire song in approximately two hours. In terms of delivery, projection, and pronunciation, everything was absolutely spot on. We genuinely had a great time working with them. Even while composing the track, we had them in mind, we tailored the song to complement their style and envisioned how they would bring it to life as we created it.”
Parampara said, “It’s truly an honor and a pleasure for us to know that when this song is seen on streaming platforms, all the names—Sachet-Parampara, Priya Saraiya, Ujwal Gajbhar, and Parvathi Meenakshi, are showcased together as a team.”
Well, all the mentors and contestants are definitely very happy with the release of this OG song!
