MUMBAI: Actor Saif Ali Khan got into a scuffle with an unidentified person who tried to rob his house. During his fight with the person, he sustained several injuries. The actor has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital for treatment. This incident has been making headlines since early morning.
Mumbai Police confirmed the involvement of a robber in the incident which took place at 4am. The police are currently searching for the suspect.
According to the official statement: There was an attempted burglary at Mr Saif Ali Khan’s residence during which he was attacked and has suffered some injuries. He is currently in hospital undergoing a surgery. We request the media and fans to be patient. It is a police matter We will keep you updated on the situation.
Dr Niraj Uttamani has also stated that there is another injury on Saif Ali Khan's neck which is being evaluated. The surgery is still in progress.
