MUMBAI: Star Plus’ latest show, 'Jhanak', features Hiba Nawab in the titular role of Jhanak, Krushal Ahuja as Anirudh, and Chandani Sharma as Arshi. Since Jhanak will pretend to be married to Vihaan and enter the house as Avni, it appears that she is finally settling into her life. The biggest shock will be experienced by Anirudh when he learns about Jhanak's decision to wed Vihaan.
But when Vihaan dies in an accident, leaving Jhanak alone once more, fate will play tricks on him. Jhanak was at last finding meaning in her life, but she would soon experience the same sense of isolation and unpredictability.
The malevolent Ketki and her family want Jhanak to live a life of widowhood and give up all of her happiness, and Anirudh would not allow her to deal with them. Anirudh wants Jhanak to return to Kolkata, therefore things are going to get nasty.
Since Arshi is aware that Jhanak will find it extremely difficult to cope with the ultra-orthodox Vihaan family, she will also be seen endorsing Anirudh in his choice. Jhanak will leave to start her life afresh.
