MUMBAI:Teju notices that it is Neel touching the mic wire and immediately questions what he is doing there. Neel tries to explain his connection to Rituraj, but Teju cuts him off, assuming he is just another fan. Frustrated, she blames Neel for ruining her chance to get Rituraj’s autograph and for preventing her from speaking with him. Upset, she walks away.

Mohit visits his parents in Nagpur. They comment on how rarely he visits them. Mohit explains that his work keeps him away. His mother, however, believes he is still upset with them for forcing him into marriage. In response, Mohit sarcastically offers to quit his job and stay home instead, challenging them to manage the household without him. His father tells him that if they could sustain themselves, they wouldn’t have asked for his help. Seeing this, Mohit’s mother signals him to give money to his father. Mohit complies, handing over ₹35,000. However, his mother remarks that this amount is insufficient in today’s world. When Mohit’s father questions what he does with the rest of his salary when he lives alone in Amaravati and reminds him of Aditi’s upcoming marriage, his mother adds that no one is willing to marry Aditi due to her mental condition.
Just then, Aditi arrives and interacts with her father, Mohit, who lovingly gives her a bunch of chocolates. Meanwhile, Teej returns home and greets Mohit. He asks if Mohit will stay for Mahashivratri, but Mohit declines, claiming he has to accompany his colleagues on a picnic. Aditi, however, sees through his lie and calls him out on it. This angers Mohit, who scolds her for not respecting her elders. Lakshmi enters and reprimands Aditi, stating that she wanted her to study so she could get married rather than end up like her — neglected by her husband. Teej’s wife intervenes, asking Lakshmi to stop, but Lakshmi continues to criticize Aditi before leaving.
Teej then questions Mohit for staying silent while Lakshmi scolds Aditi. Mohit, in frustration, responds that it wouldn’t have made a difference since no one in the house listens to him, which is precisely why he avoids coming back. Lakshmi confronts Mohit, accusing him of resenting her because their marriage was forced upon him. Mohit admits that he tried to oppose it, but his parents never listened. His parents, in turn, remind him that their marriage has lasted 25 years, making further discussions pointless. Lakshmi, hurt, walks away.
Later, Mohit consoles Aditi and suggests they go out for biryani. Aditi happily agrees, and Mohit invites Teej’s daughters to join them. As they prepare to leave, Lakshmi comments that Mohit never takes Aditi to Amaravati. Teej agrees, questioning why Mohit has never taken Aditi or Lakshmi there even once. Mohit explains that their living conditions in Amaravati are not suitable for a family, dismissing the matter.
Teju has a chance encounter with Rituraj. He praises her singing and asks if she wants to pursue a career in music. Excited, Teju says yes. Ritruaj assures her they will meet again before leaving. Neel, watching from a distance, observes the interaction.
Mukta is busy teaching her students when Teju arrives with candies, excitedly sharing the news that she got an opportunity to sing with Rituraj. Mukta, unfamiliar with him, asks who he is. One of the students eagerly explains that Rituraj is an internet sensation. However, Mukta dismisses him, arguing that real music comes from legends like Lata Mangeshkar, not auto-tuned singers. She then sends the students away. Teju defends Rituraj, insisting he is more than just an auto-tune artist. She argues that to become a great singer, one must learn to sing all types of songs, not just classical music. Mukta, unconvinced, warns Teju that her growing admiration for Rituraj is misplaced and expresses her disapproval.
