MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role. These days, the show's track focuses on quite an interesting narrative, where the show has taken a fifteen years leap and the kids are all grown up and are living with Anupamaa and the problems surrounding her don't end. The current track focuses on the entry of the Kotari family (Prem's family), who are opposed to the Shah family, particularly Anupama and Rahi, and have advised them not to enter the house after discovering Prem and Rahi's relationship.

Prem's inability to get along with his father, Parag Kothari, and his stepmother, Khyaati Kothari, suggests that he has severed his family ties. After his lover Rahi, Anupama would grow to be the most significant individual in Prem's life.
Because she won't be able to handle the animosity between Parag and Prem, Moti Baa's health will deteriorate. She also wants to see Prem before she passes away, therefore she will be asking Anupama to arrange for Rahi and Prem to get married.
With great sadness, Prem will choose to return to Kothari House because of Moti Baa's condition. Prem is needed by his loved ones, therefore Rahi and Anupama will encourage him to spend time with them.
