MUMBAI: Zee TV's long-running show Kumkum Bhagya has taken another generation leap.
The show which is successfully running on small screens for a decade now will once again see a new chapter.
The makers have roped in Akshay Bindra and Pranali Rathod to play the lead roles.
Well, Pranali is well-known for her roles in shows like Barrister Babu, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, and Durga - Ek Atoot Pre Kahani among others.

Meanwhile, Akshay has also done quite a lot of work before he bagged such a big show as a lead.
So, let's get to know some of his previous work.
- Akshay has appeared in many TV shows before but not as a lead. The actor has starred in TV show Kuch Toh Hai: Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein.
- He has done many web series like Decoupled, Four More Shots Please, Hiccups and Hookups, Rakshak - India's Braves, and Fuh Se Fantasy.
- Not many are aware that Akshay was a part of a popular youth reality show Temptation Island India.
