MUMBAI: Nandamuri Balakrishna, also known as NBK, is one the major names coming from South Indian cinema. Die hard fans of NBK were excited after the title revelation and announcement of Daaku Maharaaj. Things got even more exciting when the fans got to know that Urvashi Rautela is going to play the female lead.
The trailer for Daaku Maharaaj received an overwhelmingly positive response, with fans eagerly anticipating the release of this mass entertainer. Following its release on 12th January, the film captivated audiences and garnered widespread appreciation.
Now, the box office figures confirm its success. On its opening day, Daaku Maharaaj amassed an impressive Rs 25.35 crore in India net, while its global earnings soared to an outstanding Rs 41.20 crore.
The movie collected around Rs 115 Cr worldwide, becoming the third highest grossing Telugu movie of 2025. After a successful run at the box office, the movie is all set for its Netflix release on 21st February. Earlier, there were rumors doing the rounds claiming that Urvashi Rautela’s scenes from the movie would be cut but a source close to Netflix have confirmed that there is no truth to this news and it's merely a rumor, meaning that Netflix has not deleted any scenes of Urvashi Rautela from the movie.
Daaku Maharaaj is directed by Bobby Kolli and stars NBK in lead along with Urvashi Rautela who plays female lead. The movie also features Bobby Deol.
