MUMBAI: Govinda and Varun Sharma’s Fry day movie co-star Ayra Bansal has roped in as contestant in Uorfi Javed’s newest reality show Engaged - Roka Ya Dhoka to find ideal life partner.
Actress Ayra Bansal who has done movies like Fry Day, 36 Farm House and The Zoya Factor. She has also done Music videos and Ramp Modelling, and has walked for multiple fashion designers in India, Middle East, and North America. But for the first time she is participating in any reality show.
“Engaged is a new format reality show. When I was approached for it, the only thing going on in my mind was, I have done acting and modelling but reality shows are something new which I haven’t done so far so I grabbed the opportunity. Aur Jeevan saathi toh kab, kaha aur kaise mil jaaye ye sab bhagwaan ke haath meh hota hai,” Ayra said while spilling beans on why she became a part of the show.
Engaged - Roka Ya Dhoka is not just a dating show but it’s a show where you can find your true life partner. In the show contestants have to win different tasks as a couple, which helps them to know each other better and increase understanding and trust. The show is hosted by Uorfi Javed and Harsh Gujral and currently streaming on Jio Cinema and Hotstar.
Talking about her friendship with Uorfi Javed, Ayra said, "Though we work in the same industry, I haven't got a chance to meet Uorfi earlier. I met her for the first time on the sets of ‘Engaged’ and as we met, we had long chats which made us friends now."
Apart from doing this reality show on OTT, Ayra Bansal is all set to make her debut in Telugu films with an action film called ‘Shiva- The Fighter’. In this movie, Ayra is sharing screen space with Indukuri Sunil Varma, Vikas Vasishta and Posani Krishna Murali, which will be released around March this year.
