Ajay said, ''My father has been a part of this industry for a very long time. So, one day, he was dubbing for a show called Commander which used to air on Zee TV. I was about 6 to 7 years old. I had broken my hand due to some incident which is why I had not gone to the school. So, my father took me to the dubbing studio. This is where I met the production manager of the show Shrimaan Shrimati. I was a very mischievous child and I was fidgeting with all the equipment. So, he was looking at me and he went to my father. He told my father that he was searching for a kid to play the role of Chintu for Shrimaan Shrimati which I ended up playing.''

He added, ''The Production Manager asked my father if I was interested in playing the role of Chintu. My father told him to directly ask me. Mr Desai asked me if I wanted to be an actor and play this role in the show. I immediately told him that I wanted to act. After that, I met my first director Mr Rajan Wagdhare in the office of Shri Adhikari Brothers. And I think 2 to 3 days later, I started working for the show. So, that's how my little acting journey began. I actually didn't break it out to my dad that I want to be an actor. It just happened by chance.''

Well, that's quite an interesting story!
