MUMBAI:Omi informs the Pradhan family that his eldest son has passed away. Bhushan and Alok tell the Chavan family that if this was the only news, they shouldn’t have been called there. Vinod also makes a remark, but Satish counters, saying that while the deceased are gone, they must take responsibility for the living. Deepali adds that they don’t want to lose the match by being late.

Omi then shares his perspective with Neil and the Pradhan family, stating that while modern men prefer simple women, his experience suggests that an ideal wife is someone who can unite the family. The Pradhan family also praises Neil in response.
Aditi and Prajakta arrive, and Omi introduces Aditi as the daughter of his late eldest son. He asks if Juhi is ready, and Aditi enthusiastically confirms, saying she looks like a heroine before leaving. Omi apologizes for Aditi’s behavior, explaining that she has a slight mental illness and that they have struggled to find a match for her. Neil notices Aditi and feels uncertain about Mohit’s family connection.
Amai reminds Neil that their family is already burdened with grief and pleads with him not to reject the marriage, as it would break their family apart. Neil, however, struggles with the thought that agreeing to the marriage would hurt someone deeply.
Leena and Vinod request to meet Omi’s eldest son’s wife, and Omi agrees while making a comment about it. Lakshmi arrives and is met with sympathy from Leena and Vinod, who express their sadness over her situation. However, Lakshmi cryptically states that only she knows what her husband left her. When Leena asks for clarification, Omi discreetly signals Lakshmi to remain silent. Lakshmi, holding back her pain, chooses not to reveal anything and walks away.
Aditi notices Lakshmi’s emotional turmoil and suggests that Teju accompany Juhi when meeting the groom’s family. Teju hesitates, but Juhi, feeling nervous, pleads with her. Eventually, Teju agrees.
