MUMBAI: Shaleen Malhotra is one of the most loved actors who has consistently given some strong performances throughtout his career, starting from 2011 with Adaalat, a courtroom drama serial that starred Ronit Roy.
The actor was last seen in Checkmate, a Hungama series. However, he was very much loved in Vanshaj, a Sony SAB serial where he played a strong character and garnered a lot of love.
Shaleen Malhotra was asked about the recent controversy where Rohit Sharma, the captain of the Indian Cricket Team was fat-shammed by a politician. The matter was discussed a lot on social media.
When asked about his views on it, Shaleen said, “The people who comment on fitness just by the visual perspective of it are the most stupid people that I know of. Everyone’s body is very different. Chalo hum scientific terms mein nahi bhi jaate, toh bhi agar aap America mein strongest man dekhenge na toh unka body structure dekhna, they are huge, they have huge belly, they have huge arms, aur wohi agar aap space mein Arnold Classic ya Mr. Olympia dekhe toh toh aapko ek alag type ka ek body fitness level dikhega. Unhi ke agar ek fitness models bhi hote hai. How do you call someone fit is by your intelligence of it. If you talk about fitness now, wasn’t Sunil Gavaskar fit? Wasn’t India’s best all-rounder Kapil Dev fit? But Kapil Dev never had 6-pack abs…”
