Dipika Kakar breaks silence on rumours of abandoning her daughter from first marriage; says, ‘I was deeply…’

MUMBAI: Dipika Kakar, one of the most adored stars of Indian television, enjoys an immense fan following.

She first rose to prominence with Colors TV’s Sasural Simar Ka, where her portrayal of Simar garnered widespread acclaim, making her a household name.

Her stellar performance in the show earned her recognition and appreciation from audiences across the country.

Following the success of Sasural Simar Ka, Dipika went on to charm viewers as Sonakshi in Star Plus' Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum.

She made a brief return to Sasural Simar Ka 2, reprising her beloved role as Simar for a short stint.

However, she has since remained occupied with her successful YouTube channel, where she shares snippets of her everyday life, offering fans an intimate glimpse into her world.

Currently, Dipika is enjoying motherhood to the fullest, often sharing heart-warming moments with her son, Ruhaan, on social media.

Shoaib and Dipika have repeatedly addressed the trolls' hatred. However, things took a nasty turn in 2023, when news surfaced of her abandoning her daughter from her first marriage, shocking everyone.

Recently in an interview, Dipika finally broke her silence on the news of abandoning her daughter.

She explained that it had a negative impact on her. She said, "Mai ek maa pe bhi itna bada allegation lagane ka sochungi bhi nahi, ki usne apni beti ko abandon kar diya."

She further added, "I got affected big time because that was the phase I was expecting Ruhan. And for me it was like, you know my only worry and my only question to Shoaib was, "Yeh jab aayega toh log yeh bol ke kyo bolege' kyunki in baato mein koi sachai hi nahi hai. Ruhaan was a premature baby we had a difficult time in the hospital."

Well, no doubt that Dipika and Shoaib do face the heat of trolls.
