MUMBAI: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai or as fans shorten it to YRKKH has been one of the longest running Hindi TV soap. The show became a fan-favourite right from its inception with Hina Khan and Karan Mehra as the lead couple playing Akshara and Naitik, respectively. The story has evolved and gone through countless amazing twists and turns, keeping the audience hooked through all the generation leaps. All the characters of the show have become household names and fans express their love even on social media.

Currently, the show is on its fourth generation with Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit playing the new leads as Abhira and Armaan, respectively. As per the current track, Abhira and Armaan are married and have shifted to a new house together where Armaan is trying to adjust with the space.
Now, the team of Anupamaa and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai threw an Iftaar party and it was a great celebration where all the actors, crew and other team members were present.
In an exclusive interview with Tellychakkar, producer Rajan Shahi talked about the TRP game of Anupamaa and YRKKH and how both the shows have always showed strength.
Producer Rajan Shahi said, “Beech mein neeche bhi aaye the, number 2 ya number 3 bhi aaye the. See I always say, YRKKH ki journey hai 16 saal ki, shows upar jaate hai, kabhi neeche aayenge, ache organic bade show, long running shows ke dips aate hi hai, aur fir woh upar aayega. Bohot ache shows aa rahe hai woh upar aate hai so main kabhi bhi aise ghabrata nahi hu. Yeh 16 saal kaise chalaye hai maine Yeh Rishta, log orbituaries likh dete hai ‘Oh Anupamaa slips down, Anupamaa has this thing down, Rishta hai gone down’ Main chup baith’ta hu. See we knew this track would not work, it’ll go down, woh obituaries likhna shuru kar dete hai but I am very patient, because 16 saal koi ek show ko chalaye, kuch toh hoga na show ke andar, aur aisa nahi ke Anupamaa number 4 nahi gaya, Yeh Rishta number 7 nahi gaya, so ek bade show mein humesha ek dip upar neeche aayega. Aur aaj ke zamaane mein possible hi nahi hoga ke ek show, lamba, number 1 bane. Woh possible hi nahi, aaj everything is on a fast surge, very tactical strategies are there. Acha lagta bas show ke baare mein izzat se baat kare ke acha show hai... ”
