MUMBAI: Surbhi Chandna, known for her striking screen presence and impeccable fashion sense, has been a beloved figure in the Indian television industry for years. With an enviable career and a loyal fan following, the actress has now stepped into a new creative role – that of a producer.
In an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar, the stunning actress opened up about her recent venture, married life, and why she’s been missing from television screens of late.

Surbhi, congratulations on your new journey as a producer! How did you go about casting Vivek Dahiya and Anira Gupta for your music video?
Thank you! I’ve always admired Vivek as an actor – he’s incredibly talented, grounded, and let’s be honest, those puppy eyes can melt hearts! He’s got that perfect boy-next-door charm. When I came across Anira, something just clicked. I had this gut feeling that the two of them would share electric on-screen chemistry. They were both completely at ease with one another, and that comfort translated beautifully on camera.
Your fans are eager to know – why haven’t we seen you on television lately?
It’s not for lack of offers, to be honest. I’ve been approached for several shows, but for one reason or another, things haven’t fallen into place. Also, I feel that the kind of compelling, gripping narratives we once had on television aren’t being made as often now. I’m looking for something that really excites me and can keep viewers genuinely hooked. Hopefully, something meaningful will come along soon.
Surbhi Chandna may be away from the television limelight for now, but she continues to evolve and experiment creatively. With her fans cheering her on every step of the way, her return to the screen is eagerly awaited.
