MUMBAI: On this World Earth Day, we are reminded of the importance of nature and the small changes we can make to protect our planet. Rashmi Gupta, who brings the character of Mahuwa to life in Sun Neo’s Rishto Se Bandhi Gauri, shares her personal efforts to give back to the environment.
Rashmi shares her small efforts she does for the environment, “Nature has always given us everything peace, beauty, and even healing. I’ve started doing small things like carrying my own water bottle, planting more trees near my house, and avoiding plastic as much as I can. Even on the set of my current Sun Neo show, Rishto Se Bandhi Gauri, I avoid using paper cups. I always keep my own cup handy for tea and coffee. I truly believe that small actions from each of us can make a big difference when done with love and consistency.”
The Rishto Se Bandhi Gauri actress further added, “I always make sure to switch off lights and fans when I leave a room it sounds simple, right? But it really adds up. I also try to reuse things before throwing them away. I even recycle my script pages into notes! I wish more people made these small efforts. We don’t need to be perfect environmentalists, we just need to be conscious. Nature gives us so much; it’s time we give back in small but meaningful ways.”
Rashmi Gupta shared how she finds peace through nature, “Every morning, I spend 10 minutes just sitting on my balcony with my plants. No phone, no distractions just me, the sunlight, and my little green friends. It has become my favorite ritual to ground myself and feel gratitude. Nature calms me, helps me reflect, and keeps me positive.”
Rishto Se Bandhi Gauri tells the inspiring story of Gauri, a brave and compassionate young woman who, after being forced into an unwanted marriage with the Bundela family, decides to take control of her own fate with unwavering courage and belief. Starring Eshaa Pathak, Savi Thakur, and Swati Shah, Rishto Se Bandhi Gauri airs every day at 8:30 PM on Sun Neo.
