MUMBAI:The Episode starts with Megha explaining to Alka why she came back. While eating, she tells her that Manoj must not find out about the baby. She plans to stay until Arjun figures out a way to escape. Alka notices the baby boy and says he looks just like Manoj. Megha corrects her—it’s a girl. She says God has played a cruel joke on Manoj. Alka asks if she’s happy and suddenly says Megha should’ve killed her daughter. She takes the baby, places her on the bed, and tries to smother her with a pillow. Megha rushes over and stops her.

Shaken, Megha demands to know what Alka was thinking. Alka begs her to understand and shows the bruises on her body. She says a baby girl can’t survive in Bandipur. She doesn’t want this child to suffer like she did. Megha feels terrible and apologizes. She looks at her baby and says her daughter will fight back and never give up. Alka smiles and asks how Arjun reacted. Megha says he was overjoyed—he had always wished for a daughter. The baby begins to cry, and Megha tries to soothe her, afraid Manoj might hear. He does hear something.
At the same time, Arjun is busy at the shop and spends his salary to buy toys.
Alka warns Megha that it could be dangerous if Manoj hears the crying. Manoj walks in. Megha pretends to be talking to her unborn child, asking her not to shout from the womb. Manoj grows suspicious and asks about the baby sounds. Megha brushes it off, claiming he must be hallucinating. When he asks why her baby bump isn’t smaller, she dares him to call the villagers and strip her if he’s so curious. She says she hasn’t eaten, that’s why. Manoj blames her for escaping and storms off. Megha frantically searches for Alka and finds her with the baby.
Alka later takes Megha to a quiet room where no one comes. She says Megha can rest there peacefully with her child and promises the baby’s cries won’t escape the walls. Megha thanks her. Alka tells her not to be afraid and leaves when Manoj calls.
Arjun sneaks in and hugs Megha. She’s surprised and asks how he got in. He says the guards fell asleep from the opium scent. He shows her the toys he bought. Megha guesses he hasn’t eaten. He lies and says he did, but she feeds him. When the baby starts crying again, Arjun tells Megha to sing. She jokes that their daughter prefers movie songs over lullabies. They sing together and the baby sleeps. Arjun beams and says his daughter is already a rock star. They fall asleep holding each other.

The next morning, the Kinnars arrive at Manoj’s door to bless the newborn. Manoj tells them no baby has been born. A local man interrupts, saying someone was seen buying cloth and toys for a newborn.
