Anshula Kapoor Joins Comall and Sunjoy Waddhawa's Sphereorigins's ‘Meri Bhavya Life’ to Champion Body Positivity: “My healing began when I stopped tying my worth to a number on a scale”

MUMBAI: Anshula Kapoor is known for being honest about body image and health. She doesn’t believe women should feel the need to shrink their bodies or their dreams to fit into society’s idea of beauty. Now, she has teamed up with Comall and Sunjoy Waddhawa's Sphereorigins' show Meri Bhavya Life to talk openly about body image issues, PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), and self-worth.Anshula shared why she joined hands with the show. She said, “I was attracted to Meri Bhavya Life because it allows real conversations about health and how we see our bodies. I wish I had heard these kinds of talks when I was younger.”She also spoke about her personal journey living with PCOS in a world that often judges people by how they look. She said it hurt to always feel pressure to look a certain way. “For many years, I felt like I had to make myself smaller—not just in size, but also in personality and dreams—to be accepted,” she admitted.Talking more about healing and self-love, Anshula said, “I learned that self-worth doesn’t come from losing weight. It’s already inside you—even if others don’t see it yet. My real healing began when I stopped connecting my value to the number on a weighing scale.”She added, “It takes a lot of courage to be yourself without saying sorry for it. If Meri Bhavya Life can help people talk more about body shaming, about what living with PCOS really feels like, and why being kind to yourself matters, then it’s already doing something great.”Meri Bhavya Life tells the story of Bhavya (played by Prisha Dhatwalia), a smart and successful architect who has won a gold medal. She’s also a plus-sized woman who gets left at the mandap (wedding altar) by a man who only cared about her father’s fame—not her heart. But Bhavya doesn’t let it break her. She stands tall, using her skills, confidence, and kindness to rebuild her life.Things take a new turn when she meets Rishank (played by Karan Vohra), a fitness lover who is used to getting praise for his looks. He becomes an unexpected challenge in Bhavya’s life. With Anshula Kapoor joining hands with the show, Meri Bhavya Life is not just a drama—it’s a powerful message about loving yourself, no matter what.
