MUMBAI: Pawandeep Rajan, the winner of Indian Idol Season 12, rose to fame for his melodious voice and exceptional musical talent. After his triumph on the show, he worked with music composer Himesh Reshammiya on the popular album Moods with Melodies, where he delivered the fan-favorite track “Tere Bagairr” alongside fellow contestant Arunita Kanjilal. His success earned him a loyal fan base across the country.

However, on May 5, 2025, Pawandeep met with a serious road accident near Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. He sustained multiple fractures and a head injury, requiring immediate medical intervention. Doctors performed a critical eight-hour surgery, after which he was admitted to the ICU. Fortunately, his condition has since stabilized, and he has been moved to a private hospital room.
Supporters across the nation have been sending prayers and messages of encouragement, hoping for his speedy recovery and return to music. His team has shared that he is steadily improving.
Now as per the latest updates, the singer is out of ICU. Pawandeep is now on a path to recovery while he is kept under observation.
