MUMBAI: Bhavika Sharma, one of television’s rising stars, has captured hearts with her versatile performances in shows like Jiji Maa, where she played Niyati Purohit, and Maddam Sir, portraying the much-loved Constable Santosh Sharma.

“I definitely had to work on the role,” Bhavika shared. “There’s a new level of firmness in the way I speak and carry myself now. But the moment I put on that uniform, there’s a shift—a surge of confidence, a different kind of energy that takes over.”
On Comparisons with Her Role in Maddam Sir
Given her previous portrayal of a police constable in Maddam Sir, viewers have naturally drawn parallels between the two characters. Bhavika, however, takes it in stride.
“Yes, a lot of people have pointed out the similarities, especially because of the uniform,” she said. “But both characters are very different in their essence and journeys. I’m excited to bring something fresh to the table.”
