MUMBAI: The Episode starts with Rani asking Digvijay what he is doing with her phone. Digvijay tells her it was ringing. Rani picks up the call, and Dhwani asks when she’s coming back. Rani replies that she has some work to finish and will return soon. Narayani overhears the conversation between Rani and her daughter. Narayani suggests that if Rani has no more work, she can come back home. But Digvijay tells her to stay, as Baa might need her presence.
Just then, the police arrive at Gandhi Kunj asking to meet Rani. Madhuri calls Rani, and she gets anxious, wondering why the police are there. The others begin speculating as well. Digvijay tells Narayani that they’ll soon find out the reason. Rani asks the police why they have come. The officer questions her about attending to Mr. Gulati at the hospital. Rani says she was treating many patients. Anisha asks if something happened to Mr. Gulati, and the police clarify that they’re simply conducting inquiries.
They ask Rani where she was last Tuesday night. Rani responds that she had gone out to get books for her child. Narayani then questions the police about what Rani has done. The officer explains that the girl they are investigating has committed several crimes, and her description matches Rani. Rani insists they had already questioned her earlier. Digvijay supports her and tells the police that there’s no need to harass her if they’ve already inquired. Despite this, the police instruct Rani not to leave the state.
Anisha suggests they call another nurse, but Digvijay stands firm on keeping Rani.
Pinky adds fuel to the fire by questioning why the nurse hasn’t shown her face. Ishaan reminds everyone that she has shown it to the police. He also mentions that she treats several patients, so wearing a mask could be a preventive step against infection. Still, Anisha remains suspicious, admitting she hasn’t seen Rani’s face either. Baa then asks Rani to remove her mask, but Rani says her test reports will arrive soon and she’ll remove it after that. Baa tells Digvijay that she’s feeling better and wants to see him get married to Anisha soon.
Rani feels emotionally shattered hearing this, and just then, Anisha walks into the room. She asks Rani to remove her mask. Rani questions whether she is being doubted and says she has done nothing wrong. She even suggests that if there’s any doubt, they are free to call another nurse. She explains she wears the mask to ensure everyone’s safety and says she has no problem leaving if needed. Baa tells Digvijay that she only wants this nurse and doesn’t need to see her face.
Digvijay pays Rani, and she hesitates to take the money. Baa encourages her to accept it, and Digvijay offers to drop her. Rani takes the money, but Anisha coldly tells Digvijay that the nurse can leave on her own.
Rani returns home and immediately asks about Dhwani. Aai tells her that Dhwani has gone to school. Rani then opens up about the incident in Mumbai that she hadn’t shared earlier. She explains to Baa that her intentions were always to help others, but the police are misinterpreting her actions. She tells Aai that she’s deeply worried for Dhwani and can’t keep lying to the authorities anymore. Rani is clearly overwhelmed and unsure about what to do next.

Shanti then calls Rani, telling her to come to the hospital immediately due to a shortage of nurses. Rani learns that another nurse has gone to Delhi for training, and Shanti assigns her a task to go to Ahmedabad and bring back a patient.
Back at Gandhi Kunj, Baa’s health worsens, and Digvijay begins treating her. Meanwhile, Rani is en route with a child patient whose condition is deteriorating. Suddenly, the ambulance breaks down. Rani realizes there’s a mechanical issue and becomes alarmed as the child stops responding. She frantically tries to revive the child.
