MUMBAI: Veteran actress Shilpa Shirodkar, who once ruled the silver screen in the 1990s, made a graceful return to the spotlight after a 13-year sabbatical, during which she relocated to London, embraced motherhood, and took time away from the industry.
Her much-celebrated television comeback in Ek Mutthi Aasmaan (2013) marked a new chapter, followed by another short break from the limelight.
Recently, Shilpa created buzz once again with her participation in Bigg Boss Season 18. Her camaraderie with fellow contestants Karanvir Bohra and Vivian Dsena was widely appreciated by audiences. However, it appears that the bond she shared with Vivian didn’t survive beyond the show.

In a candid interview, Shilpa confirmed that her friendship with Vivian has come to an end. “Vivian was the first friend I made in the house, and I was never embarrassed about our connection,” she stated honestly.
She reflected on their time in the Bigg Boss house, noting that Vivian initially struggled but was simply being true to himself. Shilpa clarified they are no longer in contact and last saw each other during a shoot for Laughter Chefs 2.
She added, “He did and said what he felt was right for him. He was speaking from the heart. I too was being myself. Sometimes relationships evolve, sometimes they don’t. There’s no bitterness. I genuinely wish him all the best.”
While the friendship may not have lasted beyond the reality show, Shilpa's gracious remarks show there is no animosity, only goodwill and acceptance of life’s natural course.
