MUMBAI: Prime Video has officially kickstarted what promises to be one of this year’s most gripping reality shows — The Traitors.
With the premiere streaming not one, but three dramatic episodes, viewers have been treated to a suspense-filled beginning, complete with intense mind games, strategic betrayals, and a shocking early elimination.
Right from the outset, the competition wasted no time in turning up the heat. Renowned poker player Nikita Luther became the first casualty of the show, ousted in a surprise move by Elnaaz Norouzi, who deemed her a potential threat. With that, the psychological warfare had well and truly begun.
Hosted by the ever-charismatic Karan Johar, the show opened with an intriguing twist as Elnaaz Norouzi, Raj Kundra, and Purav Jha were covertly assigned the roles of the initial traitors — the hidden saboteurs tasked with deceiving the rest of the contestants. As the players mingled and participated in high-stakes challenges to build the prize pot, the air of suspicion began to thicken.
Though many contestants initially suspected Maheep Kapoor and Janvi Gaur, the tables quickly turned during a heated round-table discussion.
It was contestant Apoorva Mukhija who masterfully laid out her reasoning, pointing fingers directly at Raj Kundra. Her sharp deductions swayed the group, leading to a collective consensus that saw Raj exposed and eliminated.
Following this bold move, Apoorva won over the admiration of her fellow contestants, emerging as a favourite for her keen instincts and strong gameplay.
With Raj Kundra’s dramatic exit marking the end of his journey, only Elnaaz Norouzi and Purav Jha remain as the hidden traitors at least for now. The mind games are only just beginning, and the tension promises to escalate as trust becomes a rare commodity in the mansion.
The Traitors continues to stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, with new episodes dropping every Thursday at 3:00 PM. Don’t miss the drama, deception, and the ultimate quest for victory.
