MUMBAI: Danny Boyle’s long-awaited sequel to the zombie-horror franchise, 28 Years Later, arrives in cinemas this week, and the first reviews are in. Following the success of 2002’s 28 Days Later and 2007’s 28 Weeks Later, this latest instalment returns 12 years on and reunites the original writer Alex Garland, director Danny Boyle, and cinematographer Anthony Dod Mantle for a gripping new story centred on isolated survivors of the apocalyptic rage virus. Starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Jodie Comer, the film has received glowing reviews and currently holds an impressive 95% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
