MUMBAI: One of the most awaited spectacles in the annals of Hindi cinema, Ramayana, has finally made its much-anticipated debut with a visually arresting first look that has taken the internet by storm.
Directed by the visionary Nitesh Tiwari and backed by producer Namit Malhotra, the mythological magnum opus promises a cinematic experience like no other. While the project features who's who from Bollywood and South Cinema, it will also have a couple of popular television actors. Ravi Dubey will be seen playing the character of Laxman in the movie, while Indira Krishnan will be seen playing Lord Rama's mother Kaushalya. And now, TellyChakkar.com has exclusively learned that Nima Denzongpa actress Surabhi Das will also be a small part of Namit Malhotra's Ramayana
In an exclusive chat with TellyChakkar, Surabhi mentioned that she will be seen in the movie Ramayana starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash. She said, "Yes, I am a part of the movie. It is a very small role but I ecstatic to bag an opportunity like this."
Talking about working with Ranbir Kapoor, Surabhi said, "His aura is unmatched. He is a very sincere actor and one can learn a lot just by observing him perform. I feel extremely fortunate to be part of such a magnum project. We couldn't talk much because on the set he had to be in his character but yes, we did exchange pleasantries and he meets everybody with a lot of respect and that's I think an important sign of being a great human being. On the last day shoot, we did speak generally and it was amazing to work with him so closely"
Surabhi Das also shared a few pictures from the sets of Ramayana. Take a look at the post here:
Compared to Ranbir, I spent more time with Sai (Pallavi). She is extremely sweet and a warm person. Overall it has been an enriching experience and I can't wait for the movie's release.
