Taking a cue from Remo D'Souza who directed his first dance film Any Body Can Dance (ABCD) in 3D, choreographer Ganesh Acharya has planned to make an original dance film which he says will be different from that of his Bollywood colleague that released earlier this year.
Talking about his forthcoming project, Acharya said, "I am planning to make a dance film next year. It will be original and different from ABCD. I am going to make a completely different film." He however said that the film will not be made in 3D.
Interestingly, Acharya choreographed 'Oye havan kund maston ka jhund' and other songs in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s recently released Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
"After having worked with Mehra in Rang De Basanti, he asked me to do this film. There were some challenges as we had to do it (dance moves) with few military people," he said.
Acharya had directed notable films like Swami, Money Hai to Honey Hai and Angel that were based on various themes. And among his forthcoming films (as a choreographer) are Aamir Khan's Peekay, Saif Ali Khan's Bullet Raja and Indra Kumar's Grand Masti.
