In this Burl Ives’ song titled Thumbelina, the writer encourages people of a small stature:
“Thumbelina what's the difference if you're very small?
When your heart is full of love you're nine feet tall.”
Life is no fairy tale, as men and women like Tom Thumb and Thumbelina are sadly considered misfits by the so-called normal population of the world. It is tough for those who are vertically challenged- a large section of society is mercilessly cruel to you. Though it’s not your fault that you haven’t grown to the range which is considered ‘normal’ height; insensitive people will often point fingers at you as if it is you who is at fault. It takes immense courage to overcome such a challenging situation to lead a life as normal as possible.
Tellychakkar.com’s guest editor for today (2 August 2013) was an amazingly courageous gentleman who despite being extremely tiny didn’t feel discouraged in dreaming big. In a TV industry in which most actors are very tall (hovering around six feet); KK has made quite a mark in as an actor. Indeed he has gone on to become a star.
He is also a happily married man. He avers that his pretty wife is in the normal height range. He shares two sons with this remarkable lady and is keen to adopt a baby daughter.
He shared with us his journey in the TV industry and how he climbed up the success ladder. Hailing from a humble village in Bihar- he came to Mumbai which is the city of dreams for many and proved all his detractors who said that he had no chance whatsoever in the TV industry wrong.
Many actors have been invited to Tellychakkar.com’s office as guest editors- all of them were very impressive but KK was the most inspiring among them all. Indeed he is a role model to everyone- his autobiography conveys to us that there is nothing in life that you can’t achieve no matter how adverse circumstances may appear to be.
