Ankit Gera 'gears up' for his sister's wedding in Delhi

Actor Ankit Gera who essays the role of Mayank has always been a helping hand for his on-screen sister Rachana (Mahima Makwana) in his Zee TV show Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke (Shakuntalam Telefilms). But now it is time for him to carry out ‘brotherly responsibilities’ in his real life. Ankit’s elder sister is about to get married soon, and Ankit is busy wrapping up his scenes before he takes off to Delhi to be with his sister and family for the wedding. The actor will leave on 12 August (2013) and will be back to work on 22 August. However, he will make some quick travelling to Mumbai within this period to shoot for his close sequences, in case the production house needs him. Says Ankit, “My sister will settle in Canada after her wedding. So it is important that I spend quality time with her before her bidaai. Having said this, I have not been able to participate in the wedding preparations as I will be going to Delhi only on 12 August and not before that.” On his plans for the wedding, Ankit states, “Well, I am taking an important part in the sangeet. I plan to dance, sing and even play my guitar. There is a lot to do and I am gearing up for my big break from work.” Ankit, we wish you have a gala time at your sister’s wedding!!!
