After Na Aana Iss Desh Laado, Shaika Parveen is ready to bounce back in Hindi television

Actor Shaika Parveen came to the limelight by essaying the role of Kaaya in Karam Apnaa Apnaa, and later went on to bag popular shows like Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Kasamh Se. The actress was last seen playing the role of Jhumar in Colors’ Na Aana Is Desh Laado. After Laado, Shaika did not take up any show for more than a year and opted for a self-imposed break owing to health issues. The lady is back now, and is on the lookout for interesting and challenging roles on television. And as her first show post her comeback, Shaika has taken up an episodic in Zee TV’s Fear Files (Esselvision). Talking about her desire to get back to TV, Shaika tells Tellychakkar.com, “Well, I had certain health issues and was on bed rest and on medication for over a year. Now that I am fine, I have started giving auditions for shows. And the first offer to fall on my lap was an episodic in Zee TV’s Fear Files. I am presently shooting for it wherein I play a character which I have never played before. It is exciting to get back to the thick of things and work. However, I want to play a long-running and positive role. I hope things fall in place soon.” Tellychakkar.com had earlier reported about Pankaj Dheer and Amit Dua being part of a story in Fear Files. Shaika is part of the same episodic, and plays a beautiful lady with a hidden identity who falls in love with Pankaj Dheer’s character post the death of his wife.
