Star Pravah to air Maharashtracha Dancing Superstar - Chhote Masters from 23 Sept

Maharashtracha Dancing Superstar- Chhote Masters
Star Pravah announced the launch of their new dance reality show Maharashtracha Dancing Superstar – Chhote Masters. The show aims to tap and add glamour to the dancing potential amongst children in the 6 to 14 years age group across Maharashtra and crown the best as Maharashtracha Dancing Superstar. This is a unique platform where young dancers will be given to opportunity to perform any dance form of their choice across Indian and Western dance style. The contest will witness solo, couple and group performances competing against one another. Maharashtracha Dancing Superstar – Chhote Masters, will be hosted by Chinmay Udgirkar, will be judged by renowned choreographers Savio Barnes, Vishwas Natekar and popular actor Amruta Khanwilkar. Prem Kamath, Executive Vice President & General Manager – Star Pravah said, “Star Pravah has always been at the forefront of offering innovative content, earlier through fiction shows and shall continue to do so with non-fiction programming now, starting with Maharashtracha Dancing Superstar – Chhote Masters.” Savio Barnes, choreographer and a judge on the show speaking at the occasion shared, “I am excited to judge kids for their dancing skills. It gives me opportunity to use my experience & knowledge which I have garnered in past few years. As a judge I will always encourage kids with aspirations.” Vishwas Natekar, choreographer and judge said, “This show would not only give me an opportunity to guide the kids but also to learn from them.” Amruta Khanwilkar, noted actor and judge, speaking on the occasion said, “I am going to enjoy being a part of the show but as a judge, I have an extremely challenging task in hand. My role, as a judge, will be to represent the views and feelings of the viewers. Chinmay Udgirkar, noted actor and host of the show added, “I am excited about this new show and my role as the host. Kids have a very positive energy and I am happy that I will be able to experience their innocence & energy very closely as host.” The auditions for the have been conducted in Pune, Kolhapur, Nashik, Aurangabad & Mumbai and received a tremendous response with close to 7,000 children participating in the auditions across these five cities. 120 participants have been selected from these and a grand audition will be held in Mumbai to select the final contestants. The show will be on air from 23 Sept 2013 at 9.30 pm on every Monday and Tuesday. It is produced by Endemol.
