It's cheap to say that there is any rivalry between me and Parineeti - Priyanka Chopra

Every film star vies for his own space at the box-office and more often than not, wants their movie to be the only solo release on Friday. After all, the big rift between Ekta and SRK has still not faded away from public memory. Come this Friday, the sexy sisters of Bollywood, Priyanka and Parineeti are set to clash at the box-office. With Zanjeer and Shuddh Desi Romance releasing at the same time, cinemagoers would be divided in their loyalties. When we quizzed PeeCee about the possibility of any healthy sibling rivalry, she didn’t take too kindly to our question. “Let me tell you. Parineeti is family. And I think it’s cheap when people try and use that to create some sort of interesting controversy so that they can write more about it,” said Priyanka and also added, “She is my sister and the way I see it, it’s a Chopra weekend. So go and enjoy both the movies.” When we asked Parineeti the same question, she had a more gentle and pleasant response. "It's just happens that her film and my film are releasing together, but it doesn't affect us. I will watch her picture and she will watch mine, and you all will watch both the films." Our take. Well in film industry, there are no permanent friends and no permanent foes. And talking about family, well we wonder what’s Priyanka and Parineeti’s take on their third cousin Meera.
