Rajev Paul’s return to fiction has been a short one. The actor has called it quits from the Colors show Mere ghar aayi ek nanhi pari. And the reason for it is no secret with the actor not being hapyy with the way his character was shaping.
Confirming the news, Paul says, “Yes, it’s true that I’m no longer part of Mere ghar aayi ek nanhi pari. Please don’t take this as any controversy. The producers (DJ’s) are like family. We left on an amicable note. I wasn’t happy with the way my character was shaping up the way it was meant to be. I felt I wasn’t contributing as an actor so it made sense to move on. I spoke to Deeya Singh (producers) and she respected my decision. They aren’t looking for my replacement either.”
Paul refused to acknowledge that it was a short return to television. He says, “Well, I’ve also done Hans baliye. Besides, I did get noticed during my brief stint with Nanhi pari. There are some offers in the pipeline so you’ll see me on television soon.”
