Ulka Gupta signs new show!

As earlier reported about VG Productions’ new show, Paraya Ghar, tipped to be on Star Plus has now partly finalized its cast. The makers have roped in Ulka Gupta (seen as the little Manu in Jhansi Ki Rani) to play the younger part of Sumana Das’ character in the show. However, there is a hitch. “She will have to juggle her dates in October, as her exams for Class 9 will be held at around the same time. And considering the shoot is supposed to be outdoors, it’s a big problem,” says a source. She will also be seen in the upcoming episodes of Comedy ka Daily Soap as a guest. “She will perform two acts with Rajiv Nigam, the stand-up comedian. She will play a school-girl in the first and Jhansi Ki Rani in the next as she will audition for the role of the senior Rani, in the act,” adds the source. TellyChakkar spoke to Ulka, who said, “Yes I have signed for the new show and I am also performing in Comedy ka Daily Soap, which is a different experience.”
