Mandira Bedi not to host Extraaa Innings

Her fans will be disappointed but it is true that Mandira Bedi will not be a part of Extraaa Innings, the pre- match show on SET Max – anymore. A member of Extraaa Innings on condition of anonymity says, “It’s true that Mandira Bedi will not be hosting Extraaa Innings. There’s a new host but I can’t divulge the name as yet.” When contacted NP.Singh, the COO of Sony Entertainment Television, said, “I don’t want to comment on anything right now. We will reveal everything at the appropriate time.”

Mandira’s absence is not surprising considering the fact that post 2007 World Cup, she was seen as a judge in a reality show on a rival sports channel. Presently, we are seeing Mandira as a host on Star Plus’ reality show Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar. She’s also doing Star One’s Funjabbi Chak De. Lets wait and watch who wears the trademark noodle straps now.
