Kushal (Tandon) is an extremist and very unpredictable: Candy Brar

Colors’ Bigg Boss Season 7 (Endemol India) seems to be getting interesting with each passing day and Kushal Tandon’s ex-girlfriend Candy Brar’s entry might make it a bit more fascinating. For all we know it might bring in some insecurity in Kushal and Gauahar Khan’s relationship. We are sure that the channel is banking on this pati, patni aur woh moment for now but, Candy seems in no mood to enter the Kushal-Gauahar love territory. In fact, she was busy with her desk work when she received a call from the channel something that she narrated us with a throaty laughter, “It was all so hush-hush and sudden that I had no time to get ready. And I’ve a regular 10-5 job for Production Company called Showman (which produced Zilla Ghaziabad) and my boss was not ready to let me go. Until the last minute I was not sure if I’d be able to get into the Bigg Boss house. Finally my boss was kind enough to let me get into the Bigg Boss. In fact I was still at work until late in the night on Friday before going into the Bigg Boss house the next morning.” Does this mean the girl did not get to pick the best of her clothes? “Not at all. I have packed all that I could find in my wardrobe,” said the lady. Candy also seemed unsure of how long she would be in Bigg Boss. “I’ve really no idea how long I’ll be in there. And I am going to remain calm and controlled.” Scoffing at reports that she was going into Bigg Boss to confront her former boyfriend Kushal Tandon, Candy laughs, “I’ve known Kushal from the time I was a Gladrags model. We’ve been friends for quite some time. I know the family very well. I don’t know how we are going to behave with one another inside Bigg Boss. Kushal is an extremist. He’s very unpredictable. So I don’t know how he’s going to react to me. I am just going to play it cool. The funny part is someone one in the Bigg Boss (Vivek Mishra) house took my name when I don’t know this person at all. And he doesn’t know me. He had no business taking my name. It was really weird. I am not part of showbiz. Mentioning me didn’t help this guy to get more time in Bigg Boss. I certainly don’t want to do anything weird to get attention in Bigg Boss.” But, that one person (Vivek Mishra) is already out of the house! “That’s the sad part but even then at least the audiences get to know the real me.” Ask why did she and Kushal separate five years ago after a three year long relationship and she avers, “We had clashes of ideas as far as our career option were considered. He felt that acting was the biggest thing to do but for me being someone who selects those people was a bigger thing (Candy had been the selection head of Gladrags for a couple of years).” When asked about her take on Kushal-Gauahar love story she says, “If it’s true it’s good because he has something stable in life that way. Plus it will be the best for me as he is involved with someone.” Is she dating someone? “I am happily single. It is a bliss as I have too much of work on hand at the moment.” Let’s see how long Candy manages to stay in the house!!!
