Gopi Bhalla surprised at having a tremendous fan following in Bangkok

Gopi Bhalla, acclaimed for doing comedy roles to perfection, currently seen playing the role of constable Gopinath Gandotra in SAB TV’s F.I.R. , has also been part of Punjabi cinema and the recent film he shot for is Rambo Ranjha. Shedding light on his experience in Bangkok where he went shooting for the Punjabi film, he averred, “It was an amazing experience in Bangkok while shooting for the film and the strangest part was that the Indians out there recognised me for my thumkas as constable Gopinath. That moment I was spellbound to know how my serial and character was well seen and spoken about in Bangkok too!” Rambo Ranjha, being shot with a budget as big as Rs 12 crore, includes big names such as Garry Sandhu, the singer with a mass following and renowned rockstar Jazzy B among many others. Talking about the film and his character, the talented actor revealed, “I think this is one of the few Punjabi films with a high budget as much as Rs 12 crores. In the film I play the uncle of the lead actress; it’s a comical role. Now that the shoot of the film is over, I will resume shooting for F. I. R soon. ”
