Rajendra Gupta expresses his 'disregard' for young actors who throw tantrums

Rajendra Gupta
Rajendra Gupta is a class-actor who has played his parts in various TV shows such as Choti Si Aasha, Banoo Main Teri Dulhan, Kuchh Is Tara, Balika Vadhu and most recently Chidiya Ghar. He has also been a part of films and theatre. The highly experienced actor though disregards the younger generation actors saying that they lack the basic sense of discipline. Asserting his thoughts with the right mix of words, the actor said, “Apart from acting, the younger actors need to understand and learn the importance of being disciplined. Entering this industry may be easy, but to sustain one must have respect for his co-actors and the elders too.” As an advice, the experienced actor even went on to say, “Even if one is very talented as an actor, to move ahead in career he/she must have patience and not throw tantrums. The unit members and producers would bear it once or twice, but in future it would be difficult for them to survive in this industry if they plan to stay for long.” As a strong advice to his younger fellow-men, he said, “Actors have to be passionate and loyal towards their work to make it work in favour of them.” Hope your frank thoughts are taken in the right spirit by the budding actors!!!
