Grand Masti star Kainaath Arora chosen over Alia Bhatt and Sunny Leone for New Year event

The Grand Masti star Kainaath Arora recently climbed over a lot of her Bollywood counterparts for a New Year event in Calcutta. Yes, the year 2013 proved to be lucky for this sexy babe as post the release of Grand Masti she has been getting back to back event offers. In fact, her last event in Kolkata during Navratri turned out to be such a huge success that the organizers who were planning to rope in actors like Sonal Chauhan and Yami Gautam - as per our research - dropped them and roped in this long legged lady for an upcoming New Year event at the same city. “Yes, names like Alia Bhatt and Sunny Leone too were being considered for this event but then seeing the turnover at the Navratri event the organizers chose me,” says the actress with a smile. Ask her if she was happy to be chose over her contemporaries from the industry she smiles and says, “Who wouldn’t be happy?” In fact, the actress bag was full of New Year offers but she chose Kolkata out of the lot. “I had 14 offers this New Year which included offer from Delhi, Surat and Mumbai but then the money was better at Kolkata so I went with it.” As per our sources the actress is being paid Rs 30 lakh for a three minutes performance. Awesome deal we must say!!! “2013 has indeed been very lucky for me. There hasn’t been a single day where I haven’t done anything. I was recently in Ahmadabad for an event and now I am heading to Meghalaya as I am the guest of honour at a cultural event organised by Maharaja of Tripura,” says the actress revealing her plans. When asked about movies she stated, “I am working on a project which will go on floor soon and I am shedding some weight for it too.” Kainaath is indeed in demand!
