If there is one incident that shook Kangana Ranaut badly, it has to be the dastardly acid attack mounted on her sister Rangoli. It left Kangana and her family deeply scarred. Her sister had to undergo multiple skin grafting surgeries before she could finally face the world again. Today Rangoli doubles up as Kangana's manager and secretary. Although the physical scars may have healed, the mental ones still remain deeply etched in Kangana's mind.
Speaking at the book launch of Vibha Singh's new book The Convenient Culprit, Kangana said that if she were to be a crime reporter, she would write scathing reports on acid attackers. “My sister Rangoli had to undergo a lot of pain because of the acid attack. It scarred our entire family to a great extent. Even today when I read about acid attacks in newspapers, I get gooseflesh. So if I were to be a crime reporter, I would go after these criminals who destroy innocent people's lives by throwing acid.”
Kangana also voiced her concern against increasing crimes against women. “When I visit crowded places, I do feel scared as a woman. You never know what someone can do,” admitted Kangana and said that as a reporter she wouldn't have spared eve-teasers as well.
We are sure with your spunk and honesty you would have made an excellent crime reporter, Kangana. Her next release is the movie titled, Queen.
