Vivian and Drashti were shocked to learn about my exit from Madhubala: Vaishnavi Sahrawat

Vaishnavi Sahrawat
Vaishnavi Sahrawat, better known as Ria of Colors’ Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon (Nautanki Telefilms), shot for her last scene in the show a couple of days back. Indeed an emotional moment for this beautiful woman. Yes, the actress, who recently made her entry in this love story as the negative lead, will be seen making an exit from the project by the end of this week. When we contacted Vaishnavi, she said, “I was really happy to play the negative lead as I felt my character would stay till the end. But then you cannot predict anything on TV. Probably all the women out there did not like my character as they cannot see anybody in between RK (Vivian D’sena) and Madhu (Drashti Dhami). I think I too wouldn’t like something like this to happen in my life.” But wasn’t it too soon for the channel to decide that the TVTs were dipping because of Ria? “I am not taking this to the heart, neither am I thinking about all of this. Yes, I was shocked to hear the news but then it’s for the writers, producers and the channel to decide. There wasn’t enough time for the audiences to even realise or know the character well and now it’s ending. Maybe they couldn’t accept me in a negative role.” Does this mean you won’t take up negative roles in the future? “As an actor I’d be experimenting with my roles otherwise I’ll stagnate. It’s not like I’d be skeptical in the future. I will take up good roles,” she quipped. When asked if she had any kind of intimation in this matter, she completely surprised us by stating, “Trust me I learnt about it from you people. Tellychakkar called me for my confirmation on the story. That’s when I approached the creatives and they told me that my role was coming to an end. As an actor one should know about such things in advance but I wasn’t informed,” she maintained. The actress’ co-stars too were in for shock when they learnt about her exit. “Both Vivian (Dsena) and Drashti (Dhami) were shocked to learn about my exit. And I too am feeling bad as I had got attached to the team and I am leaving now. Madhubala has a very caring and loving team; it had become like a family for me,” she added. Interestingly, the actress’ husband Nitin had foreseen her exit. “When I started shooting he had told me that my track would end soon as it was moving at a rapid speed. However, I did not believe him then but he was right.” The duo also completed a year of their wedding on 23 December 2013 which was indeed a very happy day for Vaishnavi. “The day was full of surprises and they started coming in from 22nd (December) night onwards. I got somewhere around five to six surprises. Moreover, Nitin made it a point to make everything special for me.” This is just the beginning of celebrations for the actress as she further added, “Now that I am free, I’ll get to celebrate Christmas, New Year and my friend’s birthday. So I am completely looking forward to all the celebrations.” Lastly, she quipped, “Acting is an unpredictable field but it’s also challenging and adventurous and this is what I like about it.” Vaishnavi we wish you loads of luck and happiness!!!
