Pavitra Punia to play Bheem's wife Hidimba in Star Plus' Mahabharat

The magnum opus show Mahabharat (Swastik Productions) on Star Plus has managed to impress the viewers, thanks to the tremendous effort of the team and technicians who have put up a spectacle on small screen. Also the casting of various characters has been done to perfection adding to the overall viewing pleasure. And now to add some more glamour in the show, the beautiful and sexy Pavitra Punia has been roped in to play a pivotal role. She will play Rakshashi Hidimba, who falls in love with Bheem and has a son with him who helps the Pandavas in the war of Kurukshetra. As seen, the Pandavas are currently living in disguise in a forest and this is when Hidimba will come across Bheem (Saurav Gujjar) and fall in love with the strength and power of the mighty prince. But after they leave the forest, she will have their son and single handedly bring him up. Pavitra, who was last seen in Baazi Mehmaan Nawazi Ki, has joined the team and will enter the show soon. We tried reaching the actor, but her phone was switched off. We will wait and watch how her track shapes up in the show.
