Sameer may have missed the chance of making it to the finals of Bigg Boss 4 but he does feel that he has achieved moral victory on the show. However he did not just want to be in the finals but also win the show. In that respect the New Year has been somewhat of a damp squib for Soni. Talking about the turbulent times on the show and the lessons he learned in the house Soni reveals all in a free wheeling chat to TellyChakkar. You were just a week away from the finale. How does it feel having lost it all after being so close? I am very disappointed and disheartened for I had already started imagining being there in the finals. I feel anybody who would have been in my place would have been disheartened. But, I am very happy with the kind of feedback I have got from people. It is definitely a moral victory for me. I would have loved to win the game but its Bigg Boss and you need to play the game straight. Honestly I spent 13 weeks inside and my parents were concerned about me taking the show. For the kind of atmosphere you are put in you lose control but I think that it’s a game and life goes on. I did not want to do any thing that would make facing people difficult. Today I can stand in front of the mirror and look at myself because I haven’t played any cheap tactics. Do you feel that you fell short of votes because you were less entertaining than the rest? What is entertainment for me might be rubbish for another person so, how do you define it? And, yes it is a TV show and it is made for entertaining people and they wouldn’t see it if they find it any less entertaining. For a younger crowd a Pamela Anderson may be entertaining where else it might not be the same for others. You just can’t generalize. Your relationship with Khali seemed strained in the past few weeks. Why was it so? He is a sweet chap but we have different philosophies. He felt he was popular and he could chill out and eat and not contribute in the house. But for me when all of us are working hard why should one person not work? In the first place you’re living in a pressure cooker and I am stubborn when it comes to certain issues. I just won’t back off and that’s what you saw. I had a great time with him but we had a few differences. Would you like to meet him outside the house? I would definitely meet him for it’s a different atmosphere inside the house. There are just a few people inside with who you have to talk, laugh and fight with. In such a situation things often get blown out of proportion. On top of it all you have to evict people. We had a lot of differences because we are brought up differently. Khali comes from a small village and I have been born and brought up in a city. Shweta Tiwari was blamed of forging relationships just to be safe from nomination. How true is it? What her behaviour with other people was like is something I have no idea about. But I trusted her. I wouldn’t believe anything that others have to say about her for she is a sweet girl. She was nice to me. And even if she had a reason to this how do you find it out? I don’t think she was playing games with anybody. Out of the present four contestants who do you think does not deserve to be in the house? It’s Dolly (Bindra) as I even mentioned it earlier in the house. My reasoning is she entered in the fourth week and was out of the house for a few days and was back as a different person. Having watched the show and entered was an undue advantage for her. But, if people want her in the house they want her in. What are the things that you have learnt in the Bigg Boss house? Making chicken! It is something that Dolly taught me. Apart from it I learnt a lot about me. This show gets your reality out and it is mother of all realities. When you are put in pressure you find a lot of things about your self. And, I learnt one thing that I cannot see a strong person beat the weak. I was myself on the show and I know I am goofy and stubborn but that’s me. Who would you want to see win the show? Shweta for sure.
