Bollywood couples who should get back together

The year gone by saw some new match making and some heart aching break ups. While some got hooked on to new mates, there were many left nursing a single heart. We present a list of former Bollywood lovers who we think should get back this year. Hrithik –Sussanne The nation wept collectively when Bollywood’s most loved couple Hrithik and Sussanne announced their separation, bringing curtains down to a glorious love marriage that lasted for 13 long years. Post their separation, Sussanne immersed herself in working out the nittygritties of her new store Bandra 190 while Hrithik it still looks like is nursing a heavy heart. The hunky star even reportedly met Bollywood’s chronic bachelor and new doctor love, Salman Khan to seek advice on matters close to the heart. Currently Hrithik’s seen sporting a thick mane on his face which is quite symbolic of the melancholic state that he has plunged into. As they say, distance only makes one yearn more for the love of other, we hope this couple too reconciles soon this year. At least, for their kids’ sake. Shahid – Priyanka Sasha (as Shahid is lovingly called) admitted in an interview to us that being single does have its pros and cons. And looking at his facial expression then, we could easily guess that he really was longing to break his singleton status. And who better than Priyanka, we say. As for Piggy Chops, Shahid could well be the ultimate dream man that she has been searching. While it’s said that Shahid’s nature of staying indoors (he loves playing video games) clashed with Priyanka’s outdoor and extrovert nature, we feel both should give each other, a second chance. Not only do they look good together, their getting back would also put an end to the naughty rumour mills which are still agog with news about the alleged SRK-Priyanka affair. Preity-Ness Wadia More than Ness, it is Preity who we think should get back with Ness, pronto. Hardly seen in showbiz these days, Preity is more or less becoming a spent force and if she continues evading limelight, she will soon be relegated to the league of the long forgotten actresses. Ness, on the other hand, is still the dashing debonair dude with deep pockets and high lineage. And fact be told, Ness and Preity did make for an awesome pair until mother-in-law designate Maureen Wadia played spoilsport or so the rumours profess. Salman - Katrina Okay folks. Before you raise a stink, we know that Ranbir and Katrina are in a relationship (although they are yet to admit). But we think Salman and Katrina made for a smashing pair. Sorry Ranbir. It’s not just us who think this way but even Salman’s good friend Aamir Khan at a press conference said that he wants to see Katrina and Salman together in real life. Salman too, it seems hasn’t forgotten his former love. Just recently Salman expressed his wish of gifting an Audi to Katrina who he said would look good in it. Hmm…With so much of love and admiration floating around from all quarters, we feel time is perhaps ripe for these ex-lovers to get back. But then what will happen to Ranbir. Well read on. Ranbir – Deepika Boy oh Boy! What a pair. It was like a match made in heaven. Two debutantes, who entered Bollywood at the same time, were destined to meet and fall in love when their paths crossed years later. And when Ranbir and Deepika met, sparks flew. Throwing caution to the wind, the lovers openly wore their hearts on their sleeve. PDAs (public display of affection) were indulged in plenty. And neither of them kept their relationship, a secret. But as they say, all good things come to an end soon. The relationship went kaput and both moved on until Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani reunited them. And looking at their sizzling chemistry, one only wished to see them together in real life too. In any case both are single since neither Ranbir nor Deepika have ever admitted to being in a relation post their break-up. So why not get together like the good old times. Even Deepika herself admitted on Koffee with Karan that she had emotionally invested a lot in Ranbir. May be second time lucky, it can turn out to be. You never know. Ranveer-Anushka So if Deepika is back with Ranbir, what happens to her alleged paramour, Ranveer? Well, there is a certain Anushka Sharma waiting in wings. The leggy lass is rumoured to be dating the enfant terrible of Indian cricket, Virat Kohli. Now if sources are to be believed Ranveer was the one who introduced his then lady love, Anushka to Virat. Tch, Tch! Poor Ranveer didn’t realize that he was feeding a hungry lion a dream fodder, then. Anyways, better late than never. Cricketers have never had a dream match with Bollywood heroines. But later things did not shape up and the duo parted ways. Though they are still friends even after the separation, we would say they must give time to each other and get back being a wonderful happy couple.
