Why was Mahhi Vij missing at yesterday's Fear Factor press conference?

Mahhi Vij is an actress who knows well to talk to the media. Her communication skills are above par and with her apt usage of vocab, she knows how to put her point across. Accordingly, we were looking forward to meet and chat with Mahii at the press conference of Colors’ upcoming celeb reality show, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi, which she is a part of. The event was held yesterday but we were a bit flummoxed when we did not spot Mahhi at the event. On prodding, we learnt that Mahhi has hurt herself and apparently has fractured her leg. Hence, she did not hit the stage with rest of the contestants and interact with the media, though she was there at the venue, in her vanity van, as per sources. The contestants of Khatron Ke Khiladi would fly off to South Africa to shoot for the show in a day or two and we wondered, with a fractured leg, can Mahhi participate in the series which requires quite a bit of physical strain? This is what we heard from our sources: “Mahhi is still a part of the series but might back out if she does not recover by 4th of February (the day the camera starts rolling). Let’s see what’s in store and we hope she gets well and does the show.” If Mahhi opts out, then the makers (Endemol India) will have to fish for a new contestant. When we tried reaching Mahhi, she remained out of reach. Furthermore, there is also a buzz that Ajaz Khan and Gurmeet-Debina might join the show as wild card entries later.
