Where newcomers wish to specialize in doing romantic roles or action oriented roles in the beginning of their career, here is one actor who has shown interest in doing a biopic and that too of a politician.
Want to know who this actor is?
Yes, it’s Arjun Kapoor who wants to play a politician in a biopic. "I don't want to play an actor on screen; rather would like to play an interesting character but I have never thought about who it should be. I would like play someone from our history may be someone from the freedom movement or post the freedom era...to see their journey and why they did and all," he said.
Arjun was speaking at a promotional event of Gunday in the city yesterday. The Yash Raj Films’ project stars him along with Ranveer Singh in stellar roles.
"I find politics very interesting. So maybe a biopic on a politician... because they have so many facets to their personalities. While in the biopic of an actor there is not much to explore - their personal and professional life. I would like to do politically based biopic if possible," he added.
The actor who made his debut in Ishaqzaade for YRF followed it up with Aurangzeb also from the same banner.
Arjun, the son of Boney Kapoor, will be next seen in 2 States based on noted author Chetan Bhagat's novel of the same name. He also has a film with Homi Adajania titled Finding Fanny Fernandez and Tevar, a film that his father is producing.
