If there is a coaching class on romance, I would happily join it: Aalekh Kapoor

The very good looking Aalekh Kapoor, who is currently playing Maddy in Channel V’s Relationship Status- Its’ Complicated, worked as a journalist with a national daily and used to write movie reviews as part of a weekly column. Also being part of various ramp shows, print, video commercials and music videos, the boy is today happy doing TV. Talking about his character, Aalekh reveals, “Maddy has just come out from a bad relationship and that has put him off in terms of girls and relationship. He is too prejudiced upon women and his ‘I am always right’ attitude puts him in difficult situations all the time.” On his expectations from TV, the actor states categorically, “Well, actors might not get to experiment with roles but it’s definitely not the end. This has been my dream for a long time and hence I will be working hard for it. I won’t lie but I do have a lot of back-up plans in mind although I would want them to be just plans.” So what made you choose a show like Complicated as your launch pad? “Oh, firstly it has a feel-good touch to it; secondly it’s a youth show and so real and relatable. Importantly the production house (Sunshine Productions) and the channel were added advantages,” shares Aalekh. Later talking about the team, the actor adds, “The team is a young one and we have a great time shooting together. But it is always the gang of boys, which includes me, Mayank (Kalra) and Aru (Verma) that has most of the fun.” Ask him about his idea of romance in real life, and he explains, “I think I am the least romantic person. Trust me if you know about any coaching class on romance, please let me know; I will happily join it. I think love is very important in our lives and the connection should be inherent. As for dates, I would love to go out with a girl into whose eyes I can stare and talk about anything random.” Now that doesn’t sound like a person who is not romantic, Aalekh!!!
