Mahaakshay Chakraborty to try his luck in movies one more time with a Bengali flick

Mahaakshay Chakraborty, son of renowned actor Mithun Chakraborty is making one more attempt to resurrect his film career which is going south, thanks to recent efforts like Loot and Enemmy. He will play the third wheel in the romance between well-known Bengali film actor Dev and new girl Mahika Sharma in a love story which will be shot in Mumbai, West Bengal and Assam. According to sources, this film which will be helmed by a well-known director will go on floors in May and the prospective release will be by the year end. Talking more about the story, our source said Dev and Mahika (well-known Assamese model) will play Bengali and Assamese actors who come to Mumbai to work in films. There she will meet Mahaakshay and sparks will fly. To add more spice, the makers have thought of roping in veteran actress Rekha who will who make Mahika do crazy stuff. The entry of Rekha (who is presently doing Super Nani) in the above cross cultural story will happen with an item song, added our source. However when we spoke to the actors concerned, they rubbished this news. Our source reiterates that all actors have been asked to keep mum, hence they cannot speak up. We tried to get in touch with Rekha but to no avail. Let’s see if Mahaakshay can get a second lease when it comes to his career.
