In order to dish out something extraordinary out of an ordinary drama, SAB TV’s Chidiya Ghar (Garima Productions) has opted to take its viewers on a tour to Kutch at a time when it is at its colourful and exotic best.
Yes, we are talking about the Rann Utsav!
The upcoming episodes will focus on how Gaumukh (Sumit Arora) would get a few tickets to visit the Rann Festival and how he along with Mendhak (Manish Vishwakarma), Kappi (Saransh Verma), Machli (Jayshree Soni), Ghotak (Paresh Ganatra) and Koyal (Shubhangi Atre) will make merry by getting into dancing, indulging in fancy dress competitions, bungee jumping and enjoying riding the quad bikes.
Sounds fun! Isn’t it?
Well, then will come a twist.
While the team will enjoy the attractions in the Utsav, there would be a sudden twist in the story. A trusted source informs us, “Gaumukh will suddenly get lost and there would be a prolonged search as part of the story.”
We tried contacting Shubhangi Atre but she refused to comment apart from talking of the extreme climatic drops she is facing in Rann. “This is a beautiful place but it is very hot during the day and very cold at night. I am having a bit of a health issue because of the changes in climate,” she said.
While the other cast members were unavailable for comment, we got in touch with Jayshree Soni who averred, “I cannot reveal any details about the track. We hope our sojourn in Rann will certainly prove to be a visual treat for the viewers of Chidiya Ghar.”
On asking about the climatic conditions, she observed,” Yes, there were changes in temperatures but I really enjoyed eating all the varieties of Gujarati food. All in all it was an eventful journey.”
