People think that I am a Delhite but I am a true Mumbaikar: Hiten Tejwani

The talented actor Hiten Tejwani , who entertained his fans by way of his shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kutumb, Kumkum, Kitani Mohabbat Hai, Choti Bahu and Kaahin Kissii Roz amongst a host of others, is a happily married man. Currently playing a host in Life OK’s Savdhan India and Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta the actor takes some time out and shares his take on life for our Quickie section. What is your comfort food after a hard day’s work? I like to eat something light after a hard day’s work, may be a sandwich. Most played songs on your iPod? I like to hear all the peppy latest tracks of Bollywood movies and English songs too. If you were to get stuck somewhere with no phone or internet, where would it be and with whom? I would love to get stuck somewhere on an island with my better half (Gauri). Live-in or marriage? More than live-in, I would prefer marriage. Love is… Since love is something which is not very easy to keep alive, it becomes very important to love and be loved. Sex is… Sex is a way of expressing love. While some people find it a taboo to talk about, I think it is pretty normal as everybody knows about it and should be open about the ideology. Craziest rumour you have heard about yourself? See, people have a wrong notion and think that I am a Delhite because of my accent. But the fact is that I am a true Mumbaikar. Also, because my name is Hiten, people think I am a Gujarati. But the fact remains that I am Sindhi. What is best done slowly…eating or kissing? I think both should always be done slowly. Eating because one needs to chew food as it is better for digestion and also kiss slowly as it is best when done gently. Every person needs? Every person needs love, well wishes and blessings from their family. What is something that you need to stop doing immediately? There is nothing which I overdo apart from talking a lot. What have you always wanted to do but never done? I do not want to make it a profession but would love to own a plane and pilot the same wherever and whenever I want. One word that describes you? I am a very grounded and a happy-go-lucky person.
