Horror move Oculus to release on 11 April

From the makers of Paranormal Activity & Insidious comes ‘Oculus’ - an upcoming American Horror Film starring Karen Gillian (Guardians of The Galaxy & Dr. Who) and Katee Sackhoff (Riddick & Battle Star Gallectica) in crucial roles, that explores the story of a haunted mirror possessed with a supernatural phenomenon, having killed over 45 People in its 4 generations of existence. The underlying theme of a brother – sister relationship the film unfolds with Marie Russell (Katie Gillian) trying to exonerate her brother, who was convicted of murder, by proving that the crime was committed by a supernatural phenomenon. Directed & Written by Mike Flanagan (Absentia) the film is based on a short-film also directed by Mike called Oculus: Chapter 3 - The Man with the Plan (2006). The film which opened at the Toronto Film Festival earlier in 2013 has got raving reviews from the critics with a 100% anticipation aggregate on Rotten Tomatoes and a 7.6 rating on IMDB. It is one of the most anticipated releases of the coming month, and has managed to build a curiosity amongst the viewers with its rather stunning and intriguing trailer. Pitted as an intelligent horror film, Oculus guarantees endless chills down your spine, breath-taking visual effects and an exciting storyline.
